A national provider of advanced continuing medical educational programs for primary care physicians and healthcare professionals.

Challenge
The decision to create interactive case studies was part of the client's strategy to remain at the forefront of Continuing Medical Education. However, the time and expense of generating customized case studies appeared to be prohibitive and presented a number of challenges. Any solution would need to meet the following mandate:

•  A Continuing Medical Education authoring tool can be leveraged at the enterprise level

•  Software development costs can be fully amortized

•  Software licensing, setup fees, long-term maintenance and support costs are virtually eliminated

•  n case study deployments are supported at nominal cost

Solution
Deployment of an interactive case study engine incorporating a Flash^® interface. We partnered with the client, conducted extensive process analyses to co-develop the content and decision logic. We developed a dynamic data model to easily accommodate any case study structure, and a presentation layer utility to allow case studies to be easily rebranded.
